Food, staff, and Dr. are top notch. Backyard is lovely. Building needs TLC. Need new flooring. Tile floors with grout difficult to clean properly, noisy with wheeled carts, and probably hard on staff's feet. Need new ceilings in bedrooms and in main sitting area. Cathedral ceiling with windows in main tv room would be nice. Bathroom doors in bedrooms are too heavy for anyone in a wheelchair to open on their own. Need more electric beds. Need new furniture for rooms. Residents shouldn't have to share dresser as bed side table. Need new lights above beds. Windows are always dirty. Get city to exend bike path along river to go past Windsor place. Would be nice for residents with electric wheelchairs to have access to and would create lots of action across back of building for residents to break monotony of their days.

Home is older and maintenance department is continuously updating the personal appearance and modernizing, but the care provided is excellent. The staff and administration team are diligent and caring and I will continue to recommend this home to others; including my own family members! This home operates as a "home" not an institution; one big family!
