The staff needs to gain some patience with the residents. The entterance is too small and the residents all sit in that tiny area. It smells like urine when you walk in the door. Some of the staff can be so rude to residents and other staff members (PSW'S) The Rpn's are ok but the psw's need work on their friendly approach. The dining areas are small and residents need to be shifted around to fit chairs for the feeders to sit down. I would not recomend this home for your parent.

The building is really starting to show its age. I have never been in any other nursing home where the front door is so inaccesible to people entering from outside in a wheel chair. Ex. the interior door opens outwards towards the outside door but the distance between the doors would almost make it impossible to manouver around inside that tiny entrance. Let alone even open the door as it is not an automatic sliding door. How in accessible to people who are disabled and elderly. There are certain other issues I noticed with staff interacting with residents. Most residents just sit around doing nothing or some participate in the small recreation program that is run. There seems to be an attitude that its get one resident done and then move onto the next in the fastest time possible. Some residents are left in there room crying and drooling for who knows what. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and should be thouroughly checked out for compliance in standards of care.
