The staff care deeply about the residents. This more than makes up for the fact that this is not a brand new modern facility. It is always being cleaned and the rooms are always neat and clean. The doctors are caring and always available to talk to by phone. When you recognize how stressful and difficult it can be to work with Altzheimer patients then the good work done by the staff is even more remarkable. I have never seen the staff hanging around the staff room or nursing station unless they are on their scheduled breaks. My mother is relaxed, treated as an individual, and safe, which means I am relaxed knowing she is well cared for at all times.
