This is a horrible facility. They lack compassion for their residents. I am so happy that my mother is leaving there. The staff are rude. The management team have no feelings. I highly discourage people from placing their loves ones in Kinsmen. It's like a jail, not a home.

I have been in a few care homes and Kinsmen Place Lodge is a good one. It doesn't smell, the staff are friendly and helpful, the phsycian or nurse is available to answer questions and the food is good. I especially like that there are residents in the lobby on the main floor that I can see and talk to and get a real sense of how they like living at Kinsmen. I know the building is older and they are rebuilding to include more private rooms which are very much in demand. I love the outdoor space and they keep me informed about upcoming events through the monthly newsletter. Well done Kinsmen Staff!
