Cursory care provided. Lack of meaningful social interaction with patients; television lounges substitute for 'stimulating' activity. Once found my loved one, a frail elderly woman, 'parked' in lounge and having slipped down in her wheel chair was left to hang from her armpits on the safety belt, which also pulled her gown up and over her torso leaving her naked and exposed in this very public area. A group of 'caregivers', though within feet of the situation, were oblivious to it as they engaged in personal conversation. Clothing and personal belongings often missing and once, found her clothing being worn by another resident. Nicest thing about Kipling Acres: the on-site chapel provided for funeral service. Unless you have the time and resources to continually monitor the care of your friend or loved one, this is not the place to admit them.
