My Mom has lived here for over 2 years and I find the home to be a friendly, loving, clean, spacious facility. The food is fine and tailored to each individual, however it is institutional food therefore I could not give it the highest rating. The home is located in a rural area and doesn't have the accessibility to the many activities you would find in a larger setting but the Recreation staff are wonderful and provide daily activities, both physical and mental, for the residents. It is a smaller facility and everyone knows everyone so it is much like a home setting. I have no hesitation in recommending MVHSC.
