unhappy staff bad management understaffed one person at night no nursing staff food is cold boring and small portions threatening treatment of alders when they make complaints few activities, most people site in their rooms. most of thealderly are afaid of staff as are some families OUR PARENT IS LEAVNG TO BE SAFE AND RESPECTED!

My experience and perception was that some staff members were clearly tolerating their work at best. Looks that could only be described as hostile while speaking to certain individuals are hardly helpful. Comments like "she doesn't cooperate" from a charge nurse are surprising. When an elderly patient's personality drastically changes I would suspect a medical problem that needs timely investigation. When a patient refuses showers because she gets cold, and when the RN in charge just shrugs her shoulders in answer to how to rectify that, with no other verbal reply at the 6 week family meeting, then one may begin to wonder at the future relationship with the facility. I am very dissapointed with my particular experience with Roberta Place Barrie.

Roberta Place is the best place in Barrie. I highly recommend this place. They are very caring, and if you do have any concerns they address situations promptly. The place is very clean and does not have any odours that you find at other homes. 10 +++ Staff is great!

Very pleased with Roberta Place, management is approachable. Families need to be involved with the home to help them better understand their loved one. Instead of pointing fingers you need to work together. Communication is essential. Very clean and odourless. I vistit twice weekly... I find the staff friendly and courteous. Glad my loved one is in a clean and safe place. Thank you! Staff @ Roberta Place.

Very satisfied with Roberta Place. Management has an open door policy...clean environment, plenty of activities. Respectful to seniors. I would say I picked the best place in Barrie.
