Not as nice as it seems ,don't talk to their residents,too institutional,,lonely atmosphere,regret our move there

This is by far one of the best homes I have been to in the region. The facility is beautiful, spacious, warm and inviting. The staff are knowlagable, caring, respectful and respond to resident's needs effectively. Given the ratio of staff to resident, time constraints and ministry regulations that are imposed the quality of resident care is exceptional. We feel our loved one is taken care of in a loving and respectfull manner. Dignity, respect and compassion of the staff is evident always. There are many activities for the residents throughout the day and on evenings which is not the practice we noticed at other facilities. Management is very active and involved in assisting families with any concerns they might have involving their family member. We would recomend this Home to anyone who is looking for a facility with a home like atmosphere supporting resident's well being and dignity.

I was very disappointed when I read the review of St. Andrews Terrace as this review does not accurately represent this home. I am there one day a week to visit with my mom and have been for two years now. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The home is lovely and very well kept. I've had many meals with my mom and I have no complaints, it tastes good and is presented nicely. They have a terrific activities program and are always going somewhere, the movies, casino or shopping trips. They have a great physio and restorative program that my mom takes part in, without those services my mom might not be walking anymore. I've met many other family members who are very happy that they have chosen to place their parent in St. Andrews. I personaly have no regreats whatsoever.
