My Grandmother-in-law is at St. Olga's. They always have room if you need a place immidately - but keep a nicer place on your list. It smells terrible and I've seen grandma left in the same position in her wheel chair for 2 days. They have her sleep in it as they don't want to move her. They also have no air conditioning, which during this summer was unbearable - so their solution was to increase it to 2 sponge baths a week. This will suffice if you need immediate help and they do subsidize beds - but not to keep someone who you love long term in.
