Understaffed. Lack of communication between the nurses (which are just RPN's) and the PSWs. Lack of proper training for the PSWs with medical equipment (oxygen tanks). Residents that require some assistance, who are wanting to use the toilet during meal times are STRONGLY discouraged or even denied from going. the list can go on

Wonderful home. The staff care deeply for the resident's. This is not an institution but the resident's home. All department's do there best to ensure that the resient's are safe and well cared for. The nursing staff that included Registered Nurses, PRN and PSW do their upmost best to ensure that the resident's health concerns are foremost in their duties. The doctor's are wonderful and make it a point to spend time with the resident's during their rounds. In my dealings with this home I found that the management and staff took their responsibilities seriously to ensure that the resident's needs and wants are met. The waiting list is long to get into this facility, based on the quality of care that this home deliver's. Once admitted I was very happy with all areas of service. The Residen't Council ensures that any concerns are presented to management to be addressed in a timely fashion. My affiliation with this facilty was one of great admiration for all the staff that work to ensure the residen't were safe and well cared for under very trying conditions. Kudo's to all the staff for their care and compassion.
